After Discovery, Kennedy Space Center is Now Moving On to Atlantis Mission

The Discovery, which recently landed on Kennedy Space Center, was no doubt a huge success. But it seems like theKennedy Space Center does not want to deliberate much on the recent mission. As of this moment, Kennedy Space Center has already moved on and already planning to roll out another mission which they would call as the Atlantis.

Kennedy Space Center plans to start the Atlantis’ voyage on May 14. The said space shuttle will be on the mission for 12 days starting from the time that it leaves the launch pad 39A.

Even though some were still excited about the end of Discovery’s mission, Kennedy Space Center is now attracting a lot of people as it prepares for the upcoming Atlantis mission. The latter mission is said to be similar with the Discovery. But this time it will be more complete. There will be a flight crew from Kennedy Space Center that would deliver the supplies while Atlantis is on space. Moreover, according to the official website of NASA, Atlantis would also have a Mini Research Module built in Russia as well as an Integrated Cargo Carrier as it goes to the International Space Station.
