Bob Bradley already name d the 30-man preliminary roster recently. Unfortunately, some of the hopefuls such as Connor Casey, Freddy Adu, and Charlie Davis were not part of the list. The 30 men that were named during the US Soccer announcement is for the upcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup which will be hosted in South Africa.
But out of the 30 men that would prepare for the US soccer, only 28 of them will be attending the training camp from the 17 th of May until the 23rd. This training camp will be in Princeton, New Jersey.
When there are frustrations about the exclusions of the three players, some were very surprised when Bob Bradley said that Robbie Findley, Robbie Rogers, Eddie Johnson, and Alejandro Bedoya are part of the US Soccer roster. It’s just too bad that Charlie Davis has not yet recovered from the injuries that he got from that almost fatal vehicle accident that he encountered last October. However, Bob Bradley said that they are monitoring the treatment and workouts for this soccer pro. Although he wanted to include Charlie Davies on the US soccer list, Bob Bradley said that it would be best for the player to give his focus to his rehabilitation so he can be all prepped up once he starts playing again.
