As strange and not at all safe as it might sound, it appears that a New York store has started to produce a credit card reader for the iPhone, a little device that they consider a great accessory for the iPhone, one that would simplify transactions and turn the Apple iPhone into the next real ruler of the world (just kidding!)

At the moment, however, the iPhone credit card reader is just in the tests and it’s not yet known when will it become widely available. However, if it’s not going to be a total fluke, I am sure it will make a real impact on the market and many people will wish to have one.

The credit card reader, which is being tested at the Self Edge Store in New York is actually a small device that gets plugged in the headphones spot and… well… the details from now on are pretty scarse and unclear, but you probably use that device with your credit card and start spending your money!

According to Newlaunches.com, you simply have to type in the amount you wish to spend, put your finger on as a signature and type the email address where the invoice has to be sent. The payments are to be processed by Square and the program will also pop up a mini-map where the position of the money transfer will be marked. Interesting and spooky at the same time.
