Ten years ago Marshall Mathers aka Eminem was taking the world by storm with his witty lyrics and beats and the controversial content he was promoting. With the backing of Dr. Dree and Snoop Dog, Eminem soon became one of the most respected rappers in the industry and he still is, even today, one of the most important people in the history of the rap music.

However, it appears that Eminem is losing the exact fact that made him famous and loved by everybody: his originality, his inspiration and some solid topics to rap about.

His latest single, We Made You, proves that completely. Not only that the video is the same thing he did aeons ago with The Real Slim Shady, but it also revolves around the same thing that he did in his youth: bashing celebrities for attention.

And that was fun in the previous albums because there was MORE about them and this type of songs were not the singles. However, things have changed apparently and Em’ has no idea from where to get his controversy, so he does the same old trick. The same old trick that doesn’t really work anymore since we are bored of that. We’ve heard that already a million times and it is no longer fun. Eminem had to come up with something new, with something original, with something to put him back on top where he really deserved to be. But instead, he brought us We Made You which is rubbish (and hopefully Relapse, his upcoming album, is not entirely like that!).
