Following the swine flu outbreak, everybody went crazy and we, the regular human beings, don’t really know what to do anymore. And what seems to be the most logical to do in such times – taking a vaccine against the virus – is considered by some people wrong. Dr. Patricia A. Doyle goes, for example, deep into the “conspiracy theory” and advices everybody NOT to take the swine flu vaccine.
Here’s the interesting thing she writes on her blog, drpdoyle.tripod.com: “Do not take seasonal flu vaccine if you are told that it could help prevent this brand new Swine Flu variant. It won’t do a thing to prevent this flu. What it will do is serve up new genetic material to the Swine Flu virus that I have dubbed Spanish Flu 2, the Sequel. The Spanish Flu variant will use the gene sequences in the vaccine in humans to develop more of the changes that make the virus more readily infect humans.”
An interesting point of view regarding the evolution of the swine flu virus, don’t you thing? She also tells us about the 1976 swine flu outbreak when she took the vaccine and had to spend three months in bed after taking the vaccine… pretty strange, let me tell you that!
What do you think? Should people take the vaccine or not? Oh, and if you want to read more about the Swine Flu outbreak, check out my previous coverage on the story: swine flu symptoms and swine flu health emergency. May we all be healthy!
