eminem-relapse-coverThe only thing Eminem is still good at with his latest album, Relapse, is to create controversy – in his song Bagpipes From Baghdad, he attacks Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. Apparently, unlike the dirt called We Made You, this Bagpipes From Baghdad song managed to touch a sensitive chord and a scandal began.

Of course, this will only help Eminem and his latest album, Relapse, which needs controversy – more than any of his previous albums (which, by the way, were of high quality!). Because Relapse is nothing but old, outdated, not at all interesting rap. However, controversy sells and probably this scandal is already rolling the cash back to Marshal Mathers’ pockets.

Either way, offended, Nick Cannon answered to Eminem: “Not only has his music not evolved, but also homeboy is still obsessed with my wife. The same female that wouldn’t let him get to second base from 8 years ago,” he said and continued:

“Man to man, let’s meet up and deal with this like adults. This is my invitation to you, whenever and wherever you like, sir. So when you come out of your introverted hiding place and ask your bodyguards if you can go out and play by yourself, I’m here pimp!”

Of course, we all know that Eminem is only good at making fun of people on his songs and he’s not able to handle a face to face conflict. So the face-to-face meeting between Eminem and Nick Cannon will never happen. Instead, thanks to this event and Bagpipes From Baghdad, Relapse will sell a few hundred thousands more, which means that, no matter if his music didn’t evolve, Eminem knows how to make money.

    I bought this album because in the past Eminem has been a great rapper, songwriter, and muscian. Relapse is his best album yet in my opinion. The songs, Beautiful, We Made You, Old Times Sake, 3AM, Crack a Bottle, and Deja Vu are just a couple of songs that I’m addicted to. This whole album is great. Bagpipes from Baghdad is hilarious to me, and there is literally less than 30 seconds of the song that even talks about either Mariah or Nick Cannon. Nick Cannon is an idiot anyway, he tried to be a rapper for a couple of years but his music was a JOKE. The title of the Album is called Relapse for a reason…. hes looking back on all stages of his life, his struggles, etc, in his lyrics. I’m guessing Mariah was a big part of his life at one point.

    and by the way this article is idiotic, the only people who dont approve of eminem are 40 or older or really stuck up.

    P.S. Your Bagpipes from Baghdad video you have posted doesnt work, it says its copyright infringement from Universal Music Group…. its a shame, i wanted to listen to that great song while i read.

    Regarding the quality of Relapse, as you can see, opinions vary. In my opinion it is Eminem’s worst album ever and it has no songs I like. Of course, that doesn’t mean too much – I know that, as it usually happens, people have different opinion on how things are and how they should be :)
