tulsi-plantThe swine flu is still there, from Mexico to India and all the way in-between and, even though it is no longer considered as dangerous as it was considered at first – especially since it can be treated with classic medication – it wouldn’t hurt to strengthen our bodies and make them ready to fight back a possible infection with the H1N1 flu virus.

One way to fight back swine flu is with the use of natural herbs – for example the Indian plan Tulsi which is considered a miraculous herb and a natural remedy for the swine flu, as well as a great adjutant for our bodies. (Of course, there is always the “classic” swine flu survival kit, but if you have faith in naturist medicine, it appears that Tulsi is the answer).

Here is what Dr U K Tiwari, a herbal medicine practitioner says about the Tulsi plant (which are basically basil leaves):

The anti-flu property of Tulsi has been discovered by medical experts across the world quite recently. Tulsi improves the body’s overall defence mechanism including its ability to fight viral diseases. It was successfully used in combating Japanese Encephalitis and the same theory applies to swine flu. Even when a person has already contracted swine flu, Tulsi can help in speeding up the recovery process and also help in strengthening the immune system of the body.

A famous plant in Idia, referred to as the elixir of life or “the holy basil”, the Tulsi plant should, however, not be used as a self-medication process against the swine flu, but rather as an adjutant, as I have already said. You wouldn’t want to risk your life, in the end, so you should still consult a doctor if yo have problems!

Large amounts of herbs may result in poisoning. This is particularly important fact to be considered by those who use herbs as home remedies. They should always use herbs with utmost caution.
