George Strait Crowned the ACM Artist of the Decade

george-straitLast night on CBS we found out who was crowned the ACM Artist of the Decade during the All Star Concert: it was the ‘King of Country” George Strait, the real record holder regarding country music.

George Strait has a 25-year career in which he offered only the highest quality music to us all, and he also set tons of records to prove that he indeed is a great choice for the ACM Artist of the Decade award: he has 43 number one singles in the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts and overall 56 number ones in all charts.

During the great event in which the King of Country was finally crowned, special performances delighted the viewers: Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Jamie Foxx, Faith Hill, Jack Ingram, Alan Jackson, Jamey Johnson, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, Montgomery Gentry, John Rich, LeAnn Rimes, Taylor Swift, Sugarland, Keith Urban, Lee Ann Womack, and many more.
