Get Your Own Swine Flu Survival Kit!

swine-flu-survival-kitWorst case scenario: you get the swine flu virus. Don’t panic as, after all, the swine flu is not deadly if treated accordingly. One way to make sure that you will get over the swine flu safe and sound is to get ready for this “worst case scenario” and purchase your own swine flu survival kit. It’s not expensive, you can find it anywhere and it’s better to be prepared, right?

So, what does the swine flu survival kit consist of? Read below to find out and get ready to go on a shopping spree to be ready for a potential home confinement warrant (please note: this is not expected to happen, it might never happen – so DON’T take it as a fact or a “must do”. Just make sure you note the contents and, if the worst case scenario becomes reality, you are prepared). So, as I was saying, here is what the swine flu survival kit consists of:

1. Supply of water and food for up to two weeks. Stockpile over seven gallons of bottled water per person, plus enough nonperishable foods.
2. Fever reducers, such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen, or naproxen.
3. Cough and cold medications containing chlorpheniramine, diphenhydramine, oxymetazoline, and pseudoephedrine and lozenges with dyclonine, glycerin, or honey can help ease symptoms. You could also use Oscillococcinum, a wonder-making medicine when it comes to the flu.
4. Electrolyte drinks, such as Gatorade or Powerade (but don’t turn yourself into the people presented in Idiocracy!)
5. Hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol (if water is not available. If water is available, use the “classic” soap and water).
6. Surgical masks with an FDA rating of at least N-95 to help prevent spreading the flu. Masks need to be replaced often and disposed of after use.

Remember that following these easy 6 steps you will be ready to face a POTENTIAL new swine flu epidemic this fall. This is a real “swine flu survival kit” recommended by the Consumer Reports, so you shouldn’t be afraid that it wouldn’t help. Now let’s just hope that it won’t be needed, though!
