Intel, Sony, and Google collaborated to bring you the first GOOGLE TV! This is an ambitious project that would bring the Android software to your living room using your television, Blu-ray players and the Buddy Box from Google. Google TV is definitely a great challenge to Steve Jobs’ Apple TV, the TiVo, Boxee Box, and even to your local cable as well.

The goal of the Google TV is to connect your televisions to the internet, a feature that cannot be done using any other TVs. The Google TV is actually an open platform that does not have any kind of restriction. However, you must have a Google TV-friendly hardware that could open Flash.

Can’t get enough of Google in your computer? Then get the Google TV this fall! It will include the television and the set-top boxes so you can make Google TV work. Hardware partners of Google for the Google TV are Logitech and Sony.
