The iPhone 3.0 beta 4 was released for developers already, proving that Apple is even closer to delivering us the iPhone 3.0 OS. However, the developers, even though they made the announcement official, forgot to specify which changes or updates this fourth beta stage delivers.
However, one thing is clear: developers can only install the iPhone 3.0 beta 4 for FREE only if they have the iTunes 8.2 installed, otherwise it will fail. It is also rumored that by mixing these two features, the before empty Store settings panel is now populated, but it appears to be doing less than one would expect: it signs you into the iTunes account, reads your info and lets you sign out. However, more features are yet to be confirmed.
One other very important feature that is presented by this beta 4 release is that the iPhone OS 3.0 will offer support for both DVD and Blu-ray data, which means that the iPhone owners will finally get what they asked for! But until then, let’s hope that the developers will let some information slip regarding this iPhone 3.0 Beta 4 – I’m sure we’d all like to hear more, right?
