The White House Correspondents’ Dinner Full Video and Photos
- With 0 comments
The White House Correspondents’ Dinner 2009 was a star-studded event and President Barack Obama had an incredible speech (full video of that can be found by following the link at the end of the article), while comedian Wanda Sykes had run the show with all sorts of funny punchlines.
For example, talking at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner about Obama’s gift to Queen Elizabeth II (an iPod), she said: “You should have given the queen a memento of our country, something that says America. Give her Texas!” And that was the general way the show looked like.
Then, during President Obama’s speech at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, according to the Huffington Post, he “mocked his own administration and gave playful digs at his critics and Republicans at a black-tie dinner Saturday night attended by a mix of politicians, celebrities and journalists.
Below you can check out some photos of some of the celebrities that took part at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner 2009:
Video-wise, as promised earlier, you can go to Huffington Post and watch the entire video of Obama’s great speech, by following the link. It’s a must see – this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner was great!
