Two Were Injured During the Recent Redstone Arsenal Explosion

According to the officials of the Redstone Arsenal, there are no casualties during the explosion that happened recently. However, there are 2 persons currently injured when the explosion at the north Alabama Army Base occurred.
From the statement of Deputy Public Affairs Officer Kimberly Henry, she said that one of the two injured persons was taken to the Birmingham Hospital using a helicopter. The other victim on the other hand was taken to the hospital in Huntsville. The explosion happed at one of the buildings in Redstone Arsenal where missile and aviation testing is held. Although the Redstone Arsenal reported that there were no casualties among the employees working within the building, a county official said that one person was actually killed because of the explosion. As of now, there are still no words about the reason of the Redstone Arsenal explosion.
But when Jim Pockrus had an interview, he said that the explosion was due to the chemicals present within the building. The arsenal officials also think that the help from the county responders is not actually necessary although the latter still insisted on giving assistance during the event.
The Redstone Arsenal is not just the core of helicopter and missile progras. It is also the base where army’s weapon systems are developed as well.
