Worth Listening: Fleet Foxes – White Winter Hymnal

I have just discovered a jewel that I’m really unhappy I didn’t notice until now: a new band (at least for me) called Fleet Foxes, a group that creates completely unique music and has some incredible lyrics with religious and philosophic tones, a real joy for the year.
While checking various websites and videos I came across this Fleet Foxes fan site where I saw the White Winter Hymnal video, one of the band’s songs which is created in stop motion and looks like a modern day Bible or something. Really great and a real experience!
“A stop motion, deep and dark music video with mystic and religious subtle hints, this is also one of the best music videos I’ve seen in a long time,” say the fans about the video and I must admit that I totally agree with that. Now this band, Fleet Foxes, has become one of my favorite too and I will start digging more and more.
