For a couple of years already, Ryan Reynolds wanted his own X-Men movie but until now 20th Century Fox kept saying no to him. However, it is reported today that Ryan Reynolds will now see his wish come true as 20th Century Fox and Marvel Comics accepted to do a X-Men: Deadpool film starring “Mr. Scarlett Johansson”.

The details of the upcoming Deadpool movie are not yet very clear, but we do know that Ryan Reynolds is very happy with that. He said to MTV News:

“I’ve made no secret about my desire to do a ‘Deadpool’ movie, but if you’re going to do it, it would have to be 100% faithful to its origins. To stay as true to the source material as possible is the only way to do it, and I say that because there’s nothing more interesting than the source material for Deadpool. There’s no reason to deviate from that.”

Reynolds also said that he wants the next Deadpool movie to “keep it real,” which should please the fans of the fantastic universe. However, it is unclear for now when should we expect to see the flick in theaters.
