What this kid did is truly inspirational and extremely impressive: 9-year-old Josef Miles, while walking with his mother, saw protestors from the Westboro Baptist Church with all sorts of banners, including some really controversial ones like “Thank God for Dead Soldiers” or “God Hates f*gs”.
But Josef Miles decided to counter-protest in an amazing way: he took out his notebook and wrote on it: “GOD HATES NO ONE” then posed near the protestors.
His mother, Patty Akrouche took the picture and shared it on Facebook and you can check it out below, right under the advertisement:
Extremely impressed, Josef’s mother said that her son is “growing up to be a fine young man,” and that she got her Mother’s Day gift early.
He also described the event, saying that Josef Miles “made up his own little sign that reads “GOD HATES NO ONE”.
I have never been prouder. Those people are scary but he stood strong, was respectful and stood by his convictions. He will be a good man, I have no doubt.”
And I really think that this kid deserves a prize. Anything, right now! Congrats, kid!
