You would think singers would be rushing to insure their voices, but nowadays things are different: the beautiful Taylor Swift is reportedly looking to insure her legs for the amazing sum of $40 million. And apparently, the star herself is feeling a bit embarrassed by how much her legs are worth.
According to Yahoo News who didn’t quote the exact source of these rumors, the humongous sum for the insurance was reached after Taylor Swift’s team debated for a long time how much her legs would be worth:
“It seems like a ludicrous sum, but if something was to happen to her legs, Swift wouldn’t be able to give her signature stage performances,” an inside source told Yahoo. “Her $200 million career would be in big trouble.”
It appears that the singer herself was shocked to hear about the sum, as she initially believed that they’d “cost” nothing more than $1 million. Now talk about being modest:
“She thought her legs were possibly worth a million,” the source said. “But $40 million shocked her. She’s even a little embarrassed about it.”
Her team is working hard to get the insurance done before May when her World Tour starts and probably some close friends will really hope that she falls and sprains and ankle.
Taylor Swift would not be the only celebrity with their legs insured. Other big names have done it too: for example, Tina Turner’s legs were insured for $3.2 million, Rihanna had hers insured for $1 million, Heidi Klum for $2.2 million, but the winner in this strange top is Mariah Carey who recently insured her legs for a whooping $1 Billion. Yup, BILLION!
