In short, there are 21 Riddler’s Riddles across the map, three in each district. To solve them, you must scan a specific location in the area, as revealed by the riddle.
How to Solve Riddler’s Riddles
Before we jump into the locations, let me explain how these puzzles actually function. Unlike the Arkham games where you’d have to scan specific objects while playing as the world’s greatest detective, here you’re just looking for the right landmark and hitting that scan button.
Press X on keyboard or Up on the D-pad for controller, and if you’re standing in the correct spot, the riddle solves itself automatically.

Why Bother Solving All 21 Riddles?
Beyond the satisfaction of wiping that smug grin off Edward Nigma’s face, completing all the riddles nets you some worthwhile rewards.
You’ll earn cosmetic items for your squad, unlock Codex entries that flesh out the Arkhamverse lore, and yes, there are achievements tied to this. Finishing all riddles contributes to the achievement for fully clearing his challenges.
The riddles themselves are a fantastic callback to the Arkham series, and for longtime DC fans, spotting references like Sullivan Place or the Department of Extranormal Operations feels like being in on a secret.
There are three riddles in each district, so let’s go through them now!
Bakerline Riddles
- Bakerline Riddle #1 – Printing stories to sound, this planet makes the news go round
To solve this riddle, head to Daily Planet on the west side of the Bakerline district and scan the globe positioned on the top of the building.
- Bakerline Riddle #2 – In Bakerline, a renter’s choice, and there resides the people’s voice
Head to the center of the district and look for an apartment with a neon sign that says “Sullivan Place”. Scan that sign, and you’ll solve this riddle.
- Bakerline Riddle #3 – Outside the science center’s wall, find something big that once was small
Go to the science museum on the north side of the district and scan the large atom statue outside of the museum.

Racine Riddles
- Racine Riddle #1 – Within: League statues, silver smirks. Without: These golden waterworks.
Navigate to the center of Racine and scan the large fountain in the middle of the area.
- Racine Riddle #2 – A venue fit for ancient Greece, watch thrilling tales of war and peace
Find the large Amphitheater on the east side of the district and scan in. It’s right next to the Hall of Justice.
- Racine Riddle #3 – With claws beneath and sea ahead, a cold box for Gotham’s swimming dead
On the north side of Racine, find the Golden Lobster building. On top of it, you’ll find the Gotham City North Refrigeration shipping container, and scanning it will complete this riddle.
Midtown Riddles
- Midtown Riddle #1 – Within this city’s fiscal stash, Lex Luthor sits upon your cash
Near the center of this district, find the Lex Luthor Financial building and scan the large green sign in front of it.
- Midtown Riddle #2 – Though Brainiac has tanked Batman’s stocks, this place still proves that money talks
Head to the tall Wayne Tower and scan the big W in front of it.
- Midtown Riddle #3 – At both ends, their candles burning/Bring minds in these halls of learning
On the West side of the district, scan the name of the Stanhope College building.
Central Business District Riddles
- Central Business Riddle #1 – The symbol of a reigning Queen, it’s where our Ollie makes his green
Find the arrow-shaped Queen’s building and scan its logo to complete this riddle.
- Central Business Riddle #2 – With colors bright and profits low, here Simon says he runs the show
In the north side of the district, just above the Stadium, find the Stagg campus and scan its logo
- Central Business Riddle #3 – In Director Bones’s operation, see normal rise above its station
Find the Department of Extranormal Operations on the north side of the district and scan its logo.

Centennial Park Riddles
- Centennial Park Riddle #1 – A stirring figure to behold, the world’s false idol cast in gold
In the middle of Centennial Park, scan the Superman statue.
- Centennial Park Riddle #2 – To welcome those from far and wide, this sign spells out our civic pride
Head west toward the Wonderland District, and before changing districts, find and scan the large “Metropolis” sign.
- Centennial Park Riddle #3 – Within their lair the Thousands plot, too many X’s mark the spot
From the Superman statue of the first riddle, head to the bridge next to it, and you’ll see a door with multiple X marks on it. Scan it, and that’s it.
Wonderland District Riddles
- Wonderland Riddle #1: Thrill the kids, delight your tot! You want some fun? Give this a Schott
On the north side of this district, find and scan the logo of Schott’s Toys.
- Wonderland Riddle #2 – A magic show, strange and absurd, the secret spell’s a mirrored word
Right in the center of the district, scan the Magnificent Zattana building.
- Wonderland Riddle #3 – Rising high, a sun-kissed tower, a beacon of the city’s power
On the south side of the district, spot the tall Solar Tower and scan its logo.

Suicide Slums Riddles
- Suicide Slums Riddle #1 – A toast to those who came before, a bronze-cast Lex progenitor
On the east side of the district, find the bronze statue of Edna Luthor and scan it.
- Suicide Slums Riddle #2 – In quiet crypts, the city’s best, take Viking-like eternal rest
On the north side of the district, find the Valhalla cemetery and scan its entrance.
- Suicide Slums Riddle #3 – Here studying her crystal ball, the city’s mystic knows-it-all
In the main intersection between the two hallways, find Madame Xanadu’s shop and scan her front door to complete this riddle.
