Are you looking for the best survivor build in Enshrouded? Here are the best weapons, armor sets, gear options, and playstyle to go for.
The survivor skill tree offers great quality-of-life traits and combined with other Ranger classes, it can make an amazing DPS build.
Let’s go through the best loadout options available for this build.
Attribute Distribution
Before picking your specific skills, you must understand where your core power comes from. Your primary focus should always be Dexterity.
Every point in Dexterity directly increases your ranged damage, making your bow strikes hit exponentially harder. I recommend putting your secondary points into Endurance.
You need a massive stamina pool to constantly sprint, dodge, and reposition during chaotic boss fights. Constitution is a distant third priority just to ensure you survive a stray hit.
Best Survivor Skills

The Survivor is one of the top classes in Enshrouded because its core nodes give you ridiculous mobility.
For this loadout, I recommend a pure ranged DPS build that takes full advantage of the passive bonuses on the Survivor while dipping into the Ranger and Assassin trees for massive damage buffs.
We are dropping magic entirely for this setup. Spells like Water Aura and Blink scale off Intelligence and drain your mana, which completely contradicts our Dexterity focus.
Instead, grab Double Jump from the Survivor tree so you can jump a second time in mid-air. You also want Dessert Stomach to grant one extra food slot for an additional buff.
From the Assassin tree, take Updraft to give yourself a small altitude boost while gliding.
The Ranger tree is where your damage lives. Eagle Eye increases your zoom distance while aiming a bow, and Eagle’s Bane deals extra damage against flying enemies.
You also need Multi Shot. It adds a chance to shoot multiple arrows at once for incredible burst damage against groups.
Make sure you pick up any minor nodes in the Ranger tree that increase your flat ranged damage. The Assassin tree also holds a lot of valuable Dexterity nodes you should grab along the way.
Best Survivor Gear

Starting with armor, the best option for the Survivor is the Eagle Eye full set. This will grant you enough stamina, stamina regeneration, and movement speed to maneuver quickly during combat.
Alternatively, the Deerstalker set is another great choice, and you can get it easily after unlocking Athlan Skree the Hunter.
As for Rings, the Ring of Rapacity is the best option since it offers some much-needed mana regeneration.
Weapon choice is mostly a matter of preference, but I highly recommend Longbows due to their high damage and the fact that they will use less ammo compared to other bows due to their low fire rate.
Specifically, the Wolf’s Snarl Longbow is an amazing choice, especially when paired with Fossilized Bone Arrows and Bronze/Iron Arrows.
Don’t forget to also manage your rest buff by increasing it as much as possible.
Food and Consumables
Because you took the Dessert Stomach skill, you now have four active food slots to manage. I highly recommend using this huge advantage to stack stamina and dexterity buffs.
You should always keep a high-tier meat like Grilled Wolf Meat active for your base constitution.
Fill the remaining three slots with stamina-regenerating options like Fruit Bowls or Chamomile Tea. This combination ensures you never run out of breath while kiting enemies.
Playstyle and Combat Rotation
Playing this build effectively means you should rarely take damage. You want to open every single engagement from stealth.
Find a vantage point, use your increased zoom from the Eagle Eye skill, and land a critical headshot on the most dangerous target in the camp.
Once the enemies are alerted, use your massive stamina pool to sprint backward while firing. Your goal is to kite them in a wide circle.
Let your Multi Shot skill do the heavy lifting when firing into groups. If an enemy gets too close, use your Double Jump to reposition to higher ground and continue raining down arrows.
