You build a team of five pets, each with a unique ability, and they fight automatically against other players’ teams. And today I am here to share an updated tier list for Super Auto Pets.
Every pet is ranked from S (best in the game) to F (actively putting you at a disadvantage). For the pets that matter most, I’ve added short breakdowns of why they sit where they do, because a list of names without context isn’t much use to anyone.
The best pets in the game right now are spread across a large S-tier, with standouts like the Panther, the Cat, the Sloth, and the Clownfish leading the pack.

Panther
The Panther is the most impactful single pet in the current meta. Before battle starts, it deals damage equal to its attack to the strongest enemy pet, which means it can eliminate or critically weaken the opponent’s key unit before a single hit is even traded.
I love this one because it completely shifts how both players think about their positioning.
Cat
The Cat doubles the effect of every food item you use on it. With the food variety available in the current version, this scales to terrifying stat levels in the late game.
If you’re investing in food-heavy strategies, this is your cornerstone pet.
Sloth
This one surprises a lot of newcomers. The Sloth’s tooltip is famously unhelpful, and plenty of players dismiss it early on. But in certain builds, it’s pure gold – just don’t get lazy and check out the interactions, because once you understand them, you’ll see why it belongs here.

Clownfish
Whenever any pet on your team levels up, the Clownfish grants a random friend a stat boost. Leveling happens frequently in a normal run, and those boosts compound quickly.
I’ve seen Clownfish builds reach absurd stat totals by the mid-game.
Chicken
The Chicken buffs every pet in the shop by +1/+1 each time it levels up. Get it to level 3 with the right support, and you’re looking at a shop full of pets with massive head starts.
The ceiling is extremely high, but it does require early investment and some luck. When it comes together, though, it’s one of the most dominant late-game strategies in the current meta.
