Sony ZV-1
Editor’s choice – best camera for OnlyFans
This is actually my favorite camera and I am using it for various vlogging content on Youtube, as well as photography. Since it’s built for content creators, it is also an amazing choice for Onlyfans creators.
Created to be as beginner-friendly as possible, it can shoot video in 4K quality and also has a plethora of other options included on the go.
I am a big fan of the slow motion capture, for example, where you can let your creativity roam free with amazing results.
Unlike the previous model, this one has a built-in lens (so no need to invest in extra peripherals).
Actually, the link I am sharing below takes you to a bundle page, where you will also get a compact tripod which is really useful when shooting video and photos, but also a 64GB card for storage, a carrying case, software for video and photo editing and items for cleaning the camera. A really nice deal!
The Sony ZV-1 also has built-in image stabilization and a built-in three-directional microphone that is capable of recording improved audio.
The quality of audio is almost as important as that of the video, so knowing that you have that covered internally is a big bonus.
In terms of battery life, things could’ve been better, but you still get some 30-something minutes on a single charge, which is more than enough for most.
All in all, this is definitely my recommended camera for OnlyFans creators. It has a fair price and offers a ton of features out of the box, being beginner friendly and, simply put, perfect.

DJI Pocket 3
Best budget camera for Onlyfans creators
This camera is not only very budget-friendly, but also tiny and highly portable. But despite the small size, it offers everything you need for shooting really high quality videos in 4K definition at 120 FPS – and much more.
With built-in image stabilization, it has ActiveTrack features to make sure you always remain in the spotlight, as well as a great built-in microphone for increased audio quality.
It doesn’t do really well in sub-par lighting conditions, so rooms without extra lights might not be the best fit for it.
All serious content creators have to eventually invest in extra lighting options, though, so sooner or later you’ll still have to get those – and if you do it sooner, you’d have no problem using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 indoors.
The tiny camera also features a really solid battery which allows over 2.5 hours of video shooting in fullHD, although those numbers go down drastically when shooting 4K video. But still nothing to complain about!
Considering the price of this camera, and the fact that it is so small and easy to carry around wherever you may want to go and shoot your videos, it is a great choice – especially for the beginner creators.

Fujifilm X-S10
Great mirrorless camera for experienced OnlyFans creators
A great all-around camera, capable of taking amazing still photos and perfect videos in full 4K definition.
While not the cheapest, it has an excellent build and perfect for the more advanced creators, while still beginner-friendly enough for those that don’t have a lot of experience shooting videos and photos.
I like this mirrorless camera because it is compact and nicely built, with a detachable lens that gives you a ton of freedom in terms of what and how you shoot. Have in mind that no extra lens is included, so that comes at an extra cost.
You should at least get the XF35mmF1.4 R lens to pair it up with the camera and only invest in new ones if you really need them. For regular Onlyfans content, the recommended lens should be enough.
Back to the camera itself it’s worth noting that it comes with built-in image stabilization which is essential today in my opinion, but also other features that will come in handy, like Super Slow Motion (in fullHD only).
It has a decent battery life too, allowing you to shoot some 40 minutes of 4K video on a full charge.
This is definitely not the cheapest camera out there – especially when you consider the extra costs like the lens (which is a must in order to be able to use the camera), but it’s one of the most advanced ones you can get, perfect for those who want a bit more control than just point-and-shoot capabilities.

Cannon EOS M50 Mark II
Popular compact camera for video creators
This is another great option, built for video creators by Canon. It’s one of the most popular camera among vloggers all over the world and for all the right reasons.
It’s also a close competitor to the ZV-1 model above. Basically, they offer pretty much the same options, but I personally prefer the Sony model. You can’t really go wrong with either, truth be told.
Just like the other recommended models on our list, this camera can easily shoot 4K videos and take amazing photos. It has a slow-motion video feature that you probably know already how much I appreciate and is very nicely built.
Compact and durable, it is extremely beginner friendly with all sorts of AI-powered optimizations for automatically increasing the quality of your videos and photos.
It also has a vertical shooting mode, making it perfect for multitasking, like shooting video for your Instagram account or for any moment when you just feel like taking a vertical video instead of the regular, horizontal one.
Probably the biggest con of this model is the lack of image stabilization. For most Onlyfans content creators, this won’t be a big problem as the camera will be still when filming.
But if you have a cameraman or shoot videos yourself while moving, image stabilization would come in handy.
Following the link below, you will get a bundle that also includes a very useful grip/tripod combo that will make your life a lot easier when it comes to taking photos and videos.
The battery life is also similar to that of the ZV-1, meaning that you can shoot some 30 minutes of 4K video on a full charge (or around 235 photos).
All in all, despite the lack of image stabilization capabilities, the Cannon EOS M50 Mark II remains one of the best choices on the market at the moment, with plenty of useful features.

iPhone 15 Pro Max
Best phone for OnlyFans creators
Most smartphones nowadays have decent cameras, but flagships like the iPhone 15 Pro Max offer video and picture taking capabilities that can easily compete with premium cameras out there.
It’s true that this phone is priced similarly – if not more expensive than the other recommended models above, but apart from amazing cameras, you also get the phone itself which you can use on a daily basis.
But in terms of cameras, the iPhone 15 Pro Max has the best offer on the market, in my opinion, when it comes to smartphones cameras.
Its multiple lenses make it a very versatile gadget, capable of shooting in all sorts of conditions (and in super-high quality, including 4K).
It does really well in low light too with a dedicated mode and the AI help you get when shooting your video content is really helpful, especially for beginners.
It does come with a really solid image-stabilization feature also – but you will most likely need to invest in an additional tripod of sorts (like this cheap one) for keeping it in position or holding it more comfortably when taking photos or shooting videos.
But all in all, this latest iPhone model proves that you can do some amazing stuff with a phone’s camera – so if you don’t really want to invest in dedicated equipment, you don’t have to!

Main features to look at when choosing a camera for Onlyfans
You know now the best cameras you need to make it up there to the top and maybe become one of the top earners on OnlyFans. But if you still don’t know exactly what to look for in a camera, check out the most important things below:
4K video capabilities
Today, fullHD is no longer enough when it comes to the resolution of your videos.
While you can still go for fullHD only videos and most people won’t really notice the difference, you should go for the improved video quality offered by 4K-capable cameras.
All the models recommended above are capable of shooting videos in 4K resolution, so you’ve got this area covered.
AI-assisted shooting
For most users, having as much AI-assistance as possible is beneficial. Unless you have either studied film making or have a lot of experience in the field, the AI-assisted settings will make a huge difference.
Without these solid features that make your images and videos better, your expensive camera can turn into a worthless piece of junk.
A true beginner (like most of us are) with the most expensive camera in the world – but without AI assist – will almost always deliver much lower video quality than a much cheaper camera would with AI-assisted shooting.
Image stabilization
While most content creators that are active on OnlyFans won’t need much image stabilization as they will have their camera placed on a tripod on a desk or something, it’s a feature that you should look after.
Any video that you will shoot while moving will be much better if you have some sort of image stabilization. Otherwise it will look really bad and it will be very difficult to follow.
Solid microphone (or external port for one)
Sound is extremely important – even if we’re only talking about the surrounding sound and not necessarily you talking to the camera.
But since you’re shooting video, it won’t be completely muted and having solid audio will improve the overall quality of the video by a ton. Just imagine how many times you were turned off when watching a video with crappy sound!
The best sound will be obtained only if you invest in an external microphone (that you plug into your camera). There’s no doubt about this.
But the cameras recommended above still offer the best sound capture capabilities on the market at the moment without an external mic.
You won’t get the same crisp and perfect sound and you might capture a bit of background noise as well, but it’s as good as it gets in terms of built-in microphones.
However, once you get your fan numbers up, it’s worth investing in an external microphone and always use it in tandem with your camera.
Storage & battery life
While you will most likely never shoot hours of video in a single take, it doesn’t hurt to know that your camera offers enough battery juice for at least some 30 minutes of shooting. And that it has enough internal storage for that.
I personally recommend to always invest in an additional battery (or have a portable power bank with you) when not shooting at home: better be safe than sorry.
Also, having at least 2 SD cards around for storage with minimum 64GB (ideally 128GB and above) is really useful in case you get really creative and take a lot of photos and videos.
Conclusion
Investing in a high quality camera is essential for your success as an OnlyFans creator. While you can still do just well with your regular phone’s camera, if you want to get an advantage over your competitors and be able to create truly amazing videos and photos, you should invest in a solid camera.
All the models recommended above are perfect for beginners and come packed with all sorts of features that will make your life a lot easier.
So any would be a great choice. Take your pick based on budget and rest assured that things will improve drastically the moment you start using the camera.
Sure, you will still need some other minor investments to reach perfection – like adding external lighting and investing in a microphone if you need sound for your videos, but we’ll cover these in an upcoming article.
Until then, get ready by choosing the most important part of your OnlyFans creator setup: the camera! And this article helps you choose the best one on the market.
